World of Warcraft Item Upgrades
The upgrading of your equipment is an essential element of equipping your character. Upgrades increase the base damage and the enchantments of items.
They also provide bonuses and improvements. The Blacksmith can also sell them to you.
Players can recycle any item by pressing the upgrade button on it. Each item recycled adds a level to the gauge for upgrading.
Weapon
When a weapon gets upgraded, it will gain an initial damage bonus as well as a scaling factor which affects other stats. The weapon may also gain a variety of upgrade components that offer additional features or effects as well as distinctive cosmetic effects. These upgrades can be added to weapons, armors, trinkets and gathering tools. They generally require that the equipment has an upgrade slot and meet certain specifications. When a weapon or armor piece features an upgrade component within it, it is able to be upgraded but the prior upgrade will be destroyed (except for legendary equipment and upgrades). Upgrade components can be found with the help of a Black-Lion Salvage Kit or Ascended Salvage Tool, or by using a high-tier salvage tool on the item it self.
A weapon can also be upgraded to include a Calibration attribute that improves certain stats, such as Weakspot damage or Crit Rate. This can be done through the Gear Workbench's interaction menu. This can be repeated four times, based on weapon's level.
Once the weapon has reached its maximum level of improvement and is then rebuilt to add additional bonuses and effects or improve specific stats. Many of these upgrades can be used at once, and the effects differ based on the rarity of the weapon.
Two Blacksmiths can perform these upgrades in the game: Blacksmith Iji on the Road to the Manor Site of Grace and Smithing Master Hewg at the Church of Elleh hub. Both upgrade materials differ: Smithing Stones to modify the kind of damage weapons deal and Somber Smithing Stones to modify the standard weapons.
In general, it's advisable to upgrade your weapon damage first. Then you can increase your armour defense and finally those secondary stats required by your build. In particular, it's common to see melee druids upgrade their weapon before they upgrade any other gear, since this will increase DPS. This is especially true for enchantments, which can be extremely efficient in increasing a weapon's damage and other stats.
Armor
Item Upgrades allow players to increase the stats base of certain armor pieces trinkets, weapons, trinkets, and gathering tools. These upgrades can also bring additional effects, like an increase in damage or cosmetic enhancement. Item Upgrades are available through crafting, buying from NPC vendors, through loot drops, or as rewards from quests.
The quality of armor can be upgraded by visiting the Armorer NPC, and spending the appropriate currency. Most armor upgrades to the next level following an upgrade. This can be done for all types of armor, though certain types of armor cannot be upgraded in any way (such as the armor that is used as a starter in Great Sky Island).
The majority of armor upgrades provide some improvement to the item's defense or strength. However, some upgrade components can provide significant enhancements to strength or defense, especially when upgrading an item that is epic.
In addition to increasing the base defense of an item, some upgrades also offer special abilities that can be activated when wearing an armor. These abilities can prove useful in combat. For instance, they can boost the speed of attack or block. Certain upgrades can have passive effects that can be beneficial like the ability to reduce damage while wearing armor, or increasing the chance of avoiding an attack.
Depending on the type of armor, upgrading an item may require multiple tries. If a player wants to upgrade Steelclash armor to Dragonscale and the first attempt will result in a new Dragonscale armor that has a defense base between 59-67. The second attempt would result in a new Dragonscale armor that has a base defense between 67-77, and the list goes on.
The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild lets players upgrade their armor sets to level 4. To upgrade their armor, players must visit the four Great Fairy Fountains that are located in the game. Each of these locations houses the power of a fairy who can upgrade a piece of armor for the player.
Despite popular belief it isn't a necessity in The Division 2. The fact of the matter is that some armors provide significant boosts to poison, curse, fire or magical damage reduction, making them very useful for specific builds. Additionally, there are ways to improve armor stats beyond the use of upgradeable armor, such as the engineer trait to increase armor penetration, or the challenger trait that reduces the weight of the entire armor.
Potion
A potion can be upgraded by placing it in a brewing stand to unlock new effects. The upgrade unlocks a brand new level of potion effects, and can be repeated to unlock more potency levels.
The potion also has an individual color code, that the player can pick by using /give. This alters the area-of-effect clouds and arrows created by the potions. In Bedrock Edition the custom potion color is also applied to the particle effects of the potions.
The water bottle, the mundane and thick potions as well as awkward potions, now have a different the texture of brewing. Add potion of weakness and healing potion to the Creative inventory. There are lingering potions available that can be prepared using splash potions or dragon breath and a strong potion with the status effect Mining Fatigue (duration 4:45). Trinket
A trinket is an ornament that is inexpensive or a piece of jewelry. It could be a necklace, ring or even a tiny flag to identify a vessel's lateen yard. It can also be an gilded trinket fixed to the mast of a vessel.
This macabre trinket appears to be influencing denizens in this maze by making them more common. At the moment it makes all kinds of mimic Xx more common and gives each floor the chance to have an ebony mimic. Upgrades to this trinket require a moderate amount energy.
more info from this enchanted scepter seems to be affecting the dungeon itself which makes it more likely to generate water and grass. At its current level, this trinket makes X% of the floors fill with water or grass but it doesn't affect enchantments, glyphs, cursed weapons or armor, or other items created to solve hazard rooms.
While it looks like a normal newt's eye, this mystical item seems to be affecting your vision in ways that go beyond just reducing your field view. This trinket, in its current level, boosts the health gained by drinking potions of healing and wells of life by X% and also gives mind sight to enemies within the Y tile. This does not stack with the Heightened Senses.
After completing the Mastery Cave, you can find Trinkets by beating Monsters and inside crates and chests in Skull Cavern. They can't be found in the Mines or Volcano Dungeon.
If you find a trinket that needs to be upgraded, place it in the Anvil to upgrade it. This will affect the trinket which is random, either increasing or strengthening its effects. You can reforge the Trinket as often as you'd like however it will always be able to produce the same effect.
You can upgrade your Trinkets in the Alchemy Station by placing them into a Magical Catalyst. It will cost you 6 energy, but will increase the power of the trinket by a small amount.
